EVERFI: Campus Prevention Seal

This summer, all incoming freshman were required to complete a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion learning module sponsored by EVERFI. The first of its kind, all students participated in an interactive learning experience that addressed, power, privilege, access and more. This learning experience was followed up with an orientation session provided by Nick Sailor, Director of Training and Education for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion on microaggressions and the importance of building a beloved community.

In recognition of Providence College’s efforts, EVERFI has awarded Providence College with the Campus Prevention Seal. Read below the statement of recognition from EVERFI.

“Providence College has received the Campus Prevention Network Seal of Prevention by EVERFI, which recognizes an institution’s commitment to high-impact digital prevention programs. These programs have proven impact on student retention, belonging, academic success, and increasingly, enrollment, as students evaluate institutions on their approach to safety, well-being, and inclusion.”

Providence College will continue to utilize EverFi for future trainings. Learn more about EVERFI here.
