What are COVID-19-related issues I should be taking into account when creating processes and policies that will affect students?
- It is important to reach out and get student input on process and policies before they are implemented.
- All students may not have the same access to remote communications methods.
- Not all students have been in online classes before or have technological expertise.
- Our students have a wide range of identities and backgrounds — cultural, economic, health, disabilities, geographical location, family/living situation.
What should I do if my internet connection at home is unstable/slow?
PC’s IT Department is the central hub for all technology-related questions and issues. Here are their hours during remote learning and working. Go to their webpage and see information below:
- Open for phone and in-person support Monday through Friday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
- In-office support by appointment only, to be scheduled by technicians.
Every effort will be made to schedule appointments within two business hours of initial contact. - Remote support options will be available Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
- If you must get in touch by phone outside of the phone support hours, the voicemail will be monitored Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
